Close the gap between training and a first job
IDEAS showed us that the biggest gap is between training and a first job. We are looking for:
- Employers who will take interns or new hires from our trained young people
- Funders who will support training, mentoring and placement
- Training and technology partners for our planned AI skills and digital access work

Share your time and skills
We welcome volunteers who can:
- Mentor a young person in career planning, workplace skills or a technical field
- Run a workshop on CV writing, interviews or a technical skill
- Help at events such as voter education sessions or community dialogue
In-person volunteering is open to residents of Benue State. Professionals anywhere can mentor online. All volunteers who work with young people go through our safeguarding checks.
Your donation helps to pay for
- Training places and materials for young people who cannot afford them
- Mentoring and placement support after training
- Transport and data costs so trainees can attend and apply for jobs
- Devices and internet access for young people who have none
