Registering with SANF and joining our training is free. SANF never asks for money to place you in a job or to give you a grant. If anyone asks you to pay in SANF's name, do not pay. Report it to [email protected] or call +234 705 827 0219.
SANF works with young people aged 15 and over. Some are under 18, so our safeguarding policy covers children as well as young adults.
Our policy commits us to:
What we collect: Your name, phone number, email, gender, date of birth, Local Government Area, qualifications, skills and, if you choose, your CV.
Why: To match you with training, mentoring, internships and job openings, and to report overall (anonymous) numbers to funders.
Who sees it: Authorised SANF staff only. We share your details with a specific employer or partner only with your permission for a specific opportunity. We never sell your data.
How we protect it: Your data is stored on a secure, password-protected system. Only staff who need it can see it.
How long we keep it: Three years after your last activity, or until you ask us to delete it.
Your rights: You can ask to see, correct or delete your data at any time by contacting [email protected]. We will respond within 30 days. We handle personal data in line with the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023.
Mentor a young person, run a workshop or help at an event. Volunteers who work with young people go through our safeguarding checks.
